Not to be confused with the butcherscleaver, the chopping knife or Chinese Chopper is a knife inspired by ones traditional in China. The Katana Saya Olive wood 18cm Chopping Chopper is the perfect tool for the preparation of large vegetables and when handled properly can be both a delicate and quick tool for chopping. This knife is not recommended for butchering and jointing large pieces of meat.

The Eastern Olive wood range comes gift boxed with a wooden sheath that offers the perfect protection for your knife, protecting yourself and others from its supremely sharp edge. The blade has a 67 layers of VG-10 Damascus steel, the highest quality steel with a high carbon content that gives it exceptional toughness. It is hard and unbreakable, reaching a Rockwell hardness of up to 63HRC.

The exquisite craftmanship in these knives can be seen in the elegant layered Damascus pattern on the blade. The blade is finished with a light olive wood handle and opal ring which strikes a balance between opulence and hard wearing-durability.
